Caribbean Christian Broadcasting (CCB) mission is to make an empact in the life of the believer, helping them to grow in their relationship with God and developing a strong fellowship that will cause them to start ministry that will reach the lost.
CCB will reach it's mission through the broadcast that is done daily by the devotional teachings which will bring a change in the life of the believers and bring the lost to the saving grace of God.
Spiritual maturity is a process that begins when a person accepts Jesus Christ as Savior. He or she is born again of the Holy Spirit and then chooses to live "in Christ." The Apostle Paul said that spiritual growth is an ongoing process. "Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:12-14). Even the Apostle Paul had not arrived, yet he continually pressed toward the prize.
CCB goal is to help the believer to press toward that prize of maturity, helping you to make a choice to learn God's Word, allow God to renew your mind, and then be obedient to what you learn. This is done through our morning devotional, Praying and discussing the word of God on Prayer Thursday and other broadcasting programs on CCB.
Caribbean Christian Broadcasting was a vision long in the making, with a desire to take the gospel around the world, Pastor Gilbert failed at many attempts. Then came live streaming, a God sent, a savior. Having to learn this new technology, Pastor Gilbert satrted with his phone, then came Sermon.net and then vmix.
It cost, but willing, Pastor Gilbert put his own resources into the vision. With partners like Sermon.net, Tom Sinclair of Eastern shore Broadcasting https://easternshorebroadcasting.com/ the vision became a reality. Still learning this world of streaming Pastor Gilbert has made it his passion always looking for new streaming ideas. (CCB) Caribbean Christian Broadcasting is that new idea, a place to stream uninterrupted. The goal of CCB is to allow ministries to stream through it's platform.
Beverly and John were called by God to Pastor in the Virgin Islands where ministry took shape for both of them, It is in the Virgin Islands that they planted seeds of ministry, Project Hope Out Reach, Bridges After School, Eagles Nest, community feeding program and now Caribbean Christian Broadcasting.
Beverly and John's desire is to help Christians grow and develop a deeper fellowship with God. We all have a relationship with God, "He's our Father" but our fellowship with our Father is in trouble Says Pastor Gilbert. Beverly and John's heart is to help belivers and non believers to not know about God but to know God. Using the Philippians 3:9-11 model; "And be found in Him, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." Is John and Beverly goal for Christians,
